Fun & Easy Ruffles

Quick – look around.  Do you see anything that you would like to put a fabric ruffle on?  Maybe a little girls’ sundress, a curtain, chair pad, pillow or an apron?  Ruffles used to be a lot of work but not anymore.  There is a new product from Clover that makes ruffles quick and easy!  First you start by finishing the edges of your ruffle piece.  If you are inserting the ruffle piece into a seam than you really only need to worry about the edge that will stick out, so you can just finish one of the long edges or you can make a tube and turn it so there aren’t any raw edges.  Iron the Clover product to the backside of your fabric, following the instructions on the package.

Pull the threads to make the ruffle.

Insert ruffle into project.  In this case the bottom trim of an apron.

That’s it!  That is how easy ruffles can be!
