We have some beautiful sunshine here today and over the weekend we had about 12 inches of new fluffy snow.  I was out snow shoeing on Sunday morning and took these pictures.

Project time!  We all knit socks here but we each do them a little differently.  Deb does her socks with a strand of sock yarn and a strand of worsted weight wool yarn such as Brown Sheeps’ Nature Spun.  Vicki knits her socks with just the sock yarn.  Here is a picture of how different the sock can be but still using the same sock yarn.

Really cool, huh?

This basket can be made from those jelly rolls or cut your own 2 1/2″ strips.  It makes a great gift basket, basket for your knitting, mail or whatever.  Once you make one you can even make different sizes.

Just new this week I have made these wonderful slippers.  They have the non skid stuff on the bottom and the pattern includes 10 sizes from infant to adult so the whole family can have slippers! Make them from any fabric and I lined mine with flannel for extra warmth.

A fun new organizer that anyone can use and would make a great gift.  The kids could use it for art supplies, a knitting friend could use it for needles, yarn and scissors or your quilting friend can use it for their supplies.  It is hard to tell from the picture, but it has four pockets on the outside and lots on the inside.

Vicki has had a chance to work with the Accuquilt Go! machine and made this wall hanging with it.   (Sorry about the picture being a bit crooked. Kyle really wanted to help AND be in the picture.)  This wall hanging is made with the die that comes with the machine and could be made using any color.

I have some new things that I am currently working on and will be posting soon so stay tuned!

Till next time, happy crafting!

Lisa 🙂
